Lammas is an ancient harvest festival celebrated on August 1st, marking the midpoint between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox. It honors the earth's first harvest and the fullness of the season, while acknowledging that the days are already, almost imperceptibly, growing shorter.
We celebrate on the water at sunset. As the sun drops lower in the sky, we move through a Slow Flow yoga practice on stand-up paddleboards — gentle, breath-connected, and grounding. From there, we settle into a guided meditation on the water, held by the last light of a long summer evening.
Back on shore, we close with s'mores and sparklers — a nod to the ancient tradition of gathering around fire to mark the turning of the season.
All levels welcome. No paddleboard experience necessary.
